My Unreal Engine Development Journey

Ever since I was gifted an N64, I have always dreamed of creating my own worlds inside a video game. As a passionate writer and storyteller, I felt that the medium of video games was meant for me. In 2020, I started my journey with Unity. It was the first time I sat down and actually gave it a shot. Fast forward to June 2024, and I took my biggest step in game development by installing Unreal Engine.

Starting Out

At the beginning of this journey I had no clue what I was doing or what anything was. Not a lot has changed. Although now I almost can kind of guess what to do when I want the players health to go down. Hey, I'm not a master or a prodigy but I'm taking one step at a time.
